Here is a sneak peek of Meghan and Bob’s wedding on Saturday at the Pine Orchard Country Club in Branford. Meghan and Bob are my favorite kind of bride and groom….relaxed. Very Relaxed!!
The weather wasn’t looking too good on Saturday, but neither of them were stressed. We had to dodge a few rain drops during the day, but for the most part it stayed dry.
The sun literally came out for about 5 minutes towards the end of the day and we ran outside near the water to try and take advantage…it is one of my favorite shots from the day.

Over the years we have had a few part-time people helping out, but we have finally grown big enough that it was time to take some of the burden off myself…enter Tiffany.
Tiffany is the voice you will hear over the phone and see at various Steady Photography shoots over the next few months. Photography is one of Tiffany’s hobbies and she is already good…we will be bringing her along on many of our shoots over the next few months to teach her how we do things. It won’t be long before she is out on her own helping out with all of our photo shoots.

It was a nice relaxing Fourth of July weekend…a lot of floating in the pool, relaxing, and grilling. Just the way it should be.
We had a few people over on Monday and I decided to take the camera out for some pet photos. The white lab, Riley, is our cousin’s, all the others are ours.
Riley doesn’t visit much, so our cat Gatsby spent a good chunk of the afternoon scared in the tree…it made for some good pictures.
We are hoping to set up a fundraiser with Pet Photos around Christmas time…so you will see plenty more pet photos coming soon.
Here are a few photos from my recent engagement session with Meghan and Bob at the Milford Beach…it was quite windy, but we came up with some good photos.
Meghan and Rob are getting married this coming Saturday at the Pine Orchard Country Club…look for their wedding photos coming very soon.
The seniors of the Branford High School Music Makers performed for the final time at the Branford Festival last week. For those of you who haven’t seen them…they are worth the trip whenever they are singing. For a little more context…they are part of the same group that was stranded in Italy this spring.
Here are three of my favorites from the afternoon…all three are graduating seniors.
We have been getting busy with senior portraits over the past few weeks. Michelle was actually our first customer of the year.
We are doing the school photos for East Lyme High School this fall and quite a few of their seniors have scheduled with us over the summer.

The Branford High School baseball team booster club was looking for a gift to give the seniors at the end of the year banquet. Here is a sample of what we came up with. From the response I have received from the kids, I guess it was a big hit.

My last wedding of the year was on October 23 at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven CT. In honor of Halloween, the bride and groom put out a candy table for the guests. It was a big hit. Jose, the banquet manager, asked for some of these pictures…I guess it was such a big hit that they are planning on offering it to other couples. The rest of Kerri and Jeff’s wedding is up next.
All senior portraits are important, but this one was a little more important than usual…you see, I have to live with this one!! I have taken many pictures of Brittney through the years, but this was the one time it was all about her…well, her and her horse, Tyler. Here are a few of my favorites….more realistically my favorites that were approved by Brittney. The one I liked the most I was told in no uncertain terms would not be posted anywhere!!!
