A Bit About Me!

After spending 10 years in the newspaper business and four years in the Marine Corps, I decided to go out on my own in 2003. I started Steady Photography as a sports photography business, building off my contacts from the newspaper, but it steadily (no pun intended!) grew into a much more.

Now five years later, we are the official school photographer for Branford and Guilford High School, shoot 15 weddings a year, and still try to find time for sports photography.

My goal is to fill this blog with personal, professional and fun photos...check back often for updates.

Graduate Club, New Haven-Jess and Jeff

Jess and Jeff were the best to work with!!

They were married on May 16 (my first wedding of the year). After the ceremony in New Haven it started to mist/sprinkle…we tried our best to get some photos at the church, but it really just wasn’t the best spot. Jess and Jeff (both avid and very talented photographers) were eager to go to Edgewood Park in New Haven…both of them were willing to take there chances and stay out in the rain–absolute troopers!!! So, they told the wedding party to take the limo to the Graduate Club in New Haven and we got in my car and went to Edgewood Park for a little alone time(Memo to Photographers–make sure your car is presentable before you go to a wedding!!)…it was well worth it. I had never been there and it is one of the most beautiful spots in New Haven, CT. Below are a few of my favorites from the day.
