The photo booth is a great icebreaker and is always the biggest entertainment “hit” at an event. They are fun, different, and allow for guests to take home a personal memento from the evening. The Steady Photography Photo Booth has been custom designed and built especially for us with the best possible equipment. All your guests will have to do is get in and smile, and your personal on-site attendant will do the rest. It is a stand-up style booth which means you and up to five of your friends can fit comfortably inside. Our booth automatically takes four consecutive high quality digital images, and within minutes will print two photo strips.

Our photo booth can be rented by the hour, with a two hour minimum, and every rental includes unlimited photo booth sessions and an on-site attendant to help ensure that your guest maximize the photo booth experience. Best of all, at the conclusion of your event we will provide you with digital copies of all the photos taken on CD and also place them all in a secure online gallery on our website. There your guests will be able to view them, purchase them, or even Facebook them. We will also personalize your photo strips with names, corporate logos, party titles, etc.

The Steady Photography Photo Booth had the pleasure of being at quite a few local High School proms this past season and it was always a huge hit all around. We had students taking picture after picture with all of their friends and the booth wasn’t empty all night. It was a great addition to their prom experience. CT Wedding- The Barn at Wesleyan

What a great day! We started at the chapel on the Trinity College campus and then to the reception at The Barn at Wesleyan. To top it all off there was a Beatles cover band and photo booth at the reception. Speaking of photo booth…keep checking back over the next two weeks we will be announcing a contest to win our photo booth!!

On to the day….Courtney and Tyler’s Wedding!

BTW- The shot of the Royal Couple is one of my favorites…it makes me laugh every time I look at it…unfortunately I can’t take credit…that was totally Courtney’s idea.

Mystic Aquarium Wedding- Aimee and Chris

The hardest part for me at this wedding was picking a few photos to show on the blog…I finally narrowed it down to 19…I could have added at least another 20. I work very closely with Chris’s mom doing yearbook stuff for Guilford High School so I was thrilled when Chris and Aimee asked me to photograph their wedding.

We started at a beautiful old church in downtown New London, headed to UConn’s Avery Point Campus for portraits and then to the Mystic Aquarium for the reception. It was a great day.

Greg and Karen Wedding

This, like most of my posts is a little overdue. I shot Greg and Karen’s wedding during the winter in Stonington. It was a very small get together at a house they rented. I have known Greg and his entire family for almost 30 years…it was great to see him and Karen so happy on their big day. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time outside since the temperature was in the 20′s.

The rings from Karen’s daughter were classic.

Greg is also the drummer for Max Creek…it has probably been about 15 years since I have made a show. I am way overdue.

Owenego Wedding- Branford CT Jen and Jimmy

Through the years I have shot quite a few weddings, but this one was a little extra special. Before starting Steady Photography, I worked for the Shoreline Times as a sports reporter and photographer. Jen was one of the athletes that I followed on a regular basis. She was a great soccer, basketball and lacrosse player at Branford High School…makes me feel a little old photographing her wedding. Add in the fact that her husband is former military (like myself) and it was at my favorite venue, The Owenego in Branford and it made for a pretty special day.

Pine Orchard country club wedding-meghan and bob sneak peak

Here is a sneak peek of Meghan and Bob’s wedding on Saturday at the Pine Orchard Country Club in Branford. Meghan and Bob are my favorite kind of bride and groom….relaxed. Very Relaxed!!

The weather wasn’t looking too good on Saturday, but neither of them were stressed. We had to dodge a few rain drops during the day, but for the most part it stayed dry.

The sun literally came out for about 5 minutes towards the end of the day and we ran outside near the water to try and take advantage…it is one of my favorite shots from the day.

Woodwinds Wedding-Branford CT

My wedding season started off a little slow this year…seems that everything is back-loaded. I have only had two so far, but I have 12 over the next 2 months so prepare yourself for a ton of wedding images coming up.

I have said it before (probably at least five times!!), but we are going to try our best to update the blog a few times a week…keep checking back for new images.

Here are a few favorites from Jeanne and Billy’s wedding at Woodwinds in Branford. With all the bad weather, we lucked out with one of the most beautiful days of the year. Also a great couple to work with…easy-going and fun. My favorite type of couple.

Amarante’s Wedding New Haven, CT- The Candy Table

My last wedding of the year was on October 23 at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven CT. In honor of Halloween, the bride and groom put out a candy table for the guests. It was a big hit. Jose, the banquet manager, asked for some of these pictures…I guess it was such a big hit that they are planning on offering it to other couples. The rest of Kerri and Jeff’s wedding is up next.

Teresa and Eric-Owenego WEdding Branford CT

Here it is…Teresa and Eric’s wedding day. The weather didn’t cooperate early, but luckily we caught a break for about 20 minutes at the Owenego (Branford, CT) and we were able to do a few portraits outside. This was one of the most fun groups I have ever worked with. Everyone had a blast, including me.
