A Special Family Portrait Session Event – Steady Photography, Branford, CT

This past weekend we celebrated our new studio’s Grand Opening by inviting families to come and check out the studio and have a 30-minute Family Portrait Session on us. We were a little skeptical if the weather was going to cooperate, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Not only did we get to shoot the families in the new studio but we got to bring them outside as well. Thank you to all of the families. You were so fun to work with and we had a great time preserving some special family memories for you.

Here are just some of the beautiful portraits we captured that day.

As we go into the holiday season, we always try and think of ways to give back. This year we thought we would try to not only support one of our favorite charities, but also give back to the families that support us. So, we are setting aside 10 30-minute Family Portrait Sessions one Sunday every month until the holidays and we’ll waive the $75 sitting fee when you bring a Toys for Tots Donation. We are hoping this will inspire some of you to give a little back…and help to get your holiday photos done early. The dates include: Sept. 25th , Oct. 23rd, Nov. 13th and Dec. 4th. A Little Behind-Catching up with Andrew

I have been absolutely terrible at updating this blog. I always have good intentions, but next thing I know, its been three months since I posted. So I will try again. I spent about two hours yesterday putting together images from the last three months…hopefully there will be a lot of posts in the upcoming weeks. You can expect a bunch of weddings, engagement sessions, family portraits, and a few sports photos mixed in.

I will start out with my nephew Andrew…I finally went through some of my personal pictures the other day and found some fun shots of Andrew who just turned one in August.

Senior Portaits 2010

As the official photographer of Branford and Guilford High school we spend most of the summer photographing next year’s seniors…we started our appointments right after graduation and they will run through October. Here are a few of the favorites from the first week…we offer two different options. The first involves a few outdoor poses around our studio and the other is on location…samples from both are below. To all the seniors below…sorry for the wait.

The three girls are triplets…all graduating from Branford High School in 2010…after doing all of their individual photos we fooled around with all of them together for a little while.
